Arroyo Seco's, approximately 1,500 village residents, are centrally located to the town of Taos and New Mexico's highest mountain, Wheeler Peak at over 13,000 feet. Consistent with New Mexico's state capitol, Santa Fe, the village observes Mountain time zone.
